Time.news – “Electricity supplies have been partially restored in Odessa and in other cities and districts of the region, we are doing everything possible to get the most out of the conditions in which we find ourselves after the Russian attacks”. These are the words of the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, at the end of a meeting with military leaders, according to reports from Ukrainska Pravda.

“The situation – added Zelensky – remains very difficult in Kiev and its region, in the Lviv region, in the Vinnitsa region, in Ternopil and its region, in Chernivtsi and its region, in Transcarpathia, in the Sumy region. We work constantly with partners to alleviate the situation and give our people more electricity.”

Zelensky then announced that a phone call with US President Joe Biden is scheduled for this evening. The Ukrainian leader also said his conversation today with the French president, Emmanuel Macron, was “very informative”.

“Defense, energy, economy, diplomacy: we are coordinating steps, preparing to implement our peace formula – President Macron supports him, and this is very important for us”, Zelensky said.
