Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, Rustam Badasyan, hosted Mr. John Gallagher, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia.
During the meeting, the SRC chairman introduced the ambassador to the tax and customs reforms carried out by the committee and the existing programs, presented the scope of cooperation of the SRC with foreign and international structures. He paid special attention to the works carried out in cooperation with the committee and the “Good Governance Fund” of the United Kingdom government.
Badasyan highlighted the British Foundation’s support for SRC programs and expressed hope that the established effective cooperation will continue in the future, during customs and tax reforms at the initiative of SRC, in particular during measures aimed at reorganizing border processes, launching foreign economic activity centers, and improving the organization of work in the customs service. .
The ambassador also emphasized the importance of the planned reforms and their positive impact on the RA economy.
