As a result of the tragic accident, those boarding students who were not currently in the destroyed rooms of the dormitory suffered significant material damage, their daily belongings (laptops, telephones, musical instruments of students receiving art training) were lost, they wrote.

To replace these, the State Secretariat for National Policy decided to award an emergency grant of 20 million forints, which will be delivered to the institution through the Association of Hungarian Teachers in Romania,

trusting that the students’ devices will be procured and delivered to those in need by the beginning of the new year, they said.
