The group stage in the Women’s Volleyball Premier League continues tonight (Monday) with the 6th round matches. The leading trio at the top, Maccabi Haifa Maccabi Ashdod and Hapoel KPF’s, ended the evening with victories that maintained the status quo. In the lower house, Maccabi Tel Aviv achieved a significant victory that gave it an advantage in obtaining one of the two leading places for the playoffs.

Maccabi Ra’anana – Maccabi Haifa 3:1 (17:25, 25:19, 25:21, 25:22)
The leader of the table hoped to collect another victory for the balance, but opened the match on the left foot, when Ra’anana took the lead for the first time in sets. The Haifa women woke up and won the next two sets, and despite a commendable fight from the host, the champion was able to complete a turnaround to achieve victory. In Haifa, Katrina Playcheck stood out with 26 points, and Ivana Jermich added 15 points. On the other hand, Valerie Gemenovitz finished with 22 points, Nicole Del Rio with 17.
Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Ata – Hapoel FC 3:1 (25:21, 27:29, 25:18, 25:20)
An important victory for KPF’s, which continues to increase the difference in the table from its opponent this evening, with four rounds left to finish the group stage. KPF’s, which is ranked third, is only three points away from the second Ashdod, when next Saturday the two teams will meet for a fateful game.
