The renowned YouTuber MrBeast undertook a project to help nearly half a million Africans through donations and the construction of drinking water wells.
In one of his latest videos on his channel titled: “I built 100 wells in Africa”, he explains the process that he and his team have done to build these water tanks, especially in Kenya, where they made a total of 52 of these. infrastructures.

In the video, the American explained the situation of some of the communities he visited, in many of which children and young people must travel dozens of kilometers daily to access water, which sometimes was not even drinkable.
“We used this giant drill to dig hundreds of meters into the ground, past the contaminated sources and into a huge, pure, drinkable aquifer, then we set about installing pipes so that people across Africa can access water from taps,” he explained.
The wells were built in some communities in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Somalia and Cameroon.
These were not the only donations made by the YouTuber, he also provided updates to a school with new computers, blackboards, projectors and balls; He gave bicycles to children for their mobility and renovated a bridge, helping to mobilize the community.
“You might think that having an impact of this magnitude would require the resources and financing of a big government, but that is not true, solving this problem is possible and it is something that all of humanity should work harder at,” MrBeast said.
He warned that if national and international organizations do nothing for these communities, he will do it.
“I know it’s strange that a YouTuber has to do all this, but someone has to do it and if no one else does it, we will do it,” he announced.
