The proponents want to strengthen the press as an important pillar of democracy, while the opponents fear that the media are too close to the state. According to the latest polls, the result is likely to be very close. A restriction on tobacco advertising, a ban on animal testing and the abolition of a stamp duty for entrepreneurs, which is intended to encourage more investment, will also be voted on.
