taking off: After a long and rigorous planning period, the tender for locating a contractor for the urban market renewal project in Be’er Sheva was published. The project is led by Yaadim – the municipal company for business development and in cooperation with the representatives of the merchants, the Ministry of Peripheral Development, the Negev and the Galilee and the Ministry of Tourism.
What is supposed to happen?
As part of the project, which will begin at the end of 2022 and last for about three years, a significant upgrade will be carried out that will include the development of public space, new access roads for pedestrians, upgrades of water, sewage, electricity and lighting systems. In addition, the stalls and facades of the stores will be renovated, the roof will be replaced and new ventilation systems will be added.
