The 25-year-old son of the head of the State Oil Company spends more than 25 million manats on wristwatches. Even when his 2 million watch was stolen during a foreign trip, no one told him “you have an eye on your eyebrow”. What a country, what a place, what a wasteland, my brother, like this? A group of thieves who have taken over the power have eaten the rights of the people who have fallen on their knees due to poverty and need, and are vomiting blood on themselves.
An army of unemployed youth and an official’s son who spends 25 million on watches
There are hundreds of thousands of unemployed in the country. Although official statistics present the level of unemployment in Azerbaijan with confusing numbers, the real truth is different. On the one hand, official sources say that there are about 33,000 unemployed people in the country, on the other hand, there are more than 252,000 unemployed. According to the statement, more than 3 million of the employed population live in the regions, and the figures differ because people who own land are not counted as unemployed. It is an absurd statement, why owning land means owning a business? Maybe that person does not have the physical means to cultivate the land? If we believe the statistics, today the unemployment rate among 14-29 year olds in the country is 9.2 percent. This is up to 2 times more than the total unemployment rate in the country. But everyone knows that the real number is much higher than the official one. You can be sure of this by observing your surroundings. The vast majority of those who expressed their opinion were young people who were unemployed and unable to pay for their education. Who protects people who are involved in so many crimes? If the son of an official carries a 2 million watch and steals it as a toy, why are we unemployed for years with a higher education diploma? Why should we drop out of college because we can’t afford our tuition? What kind of business does Rashad Abdullayev own, that he works as a car service in Turkey, and here you give 250 manats to the people with gratitude?
