Deadpool & Wolverine marks the mouthy mercenary’s entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe

That Wolverine would have been Deadpool’s guest in the third film dedicated to the chatty mercenary is now old news, but that Wolverine, played for the tenth time by the Australian actor Hugh Jackman, would have been a co-protagonist also in the title is recent news, that is, since the new (and probably last) trailer for Deadpool 3 was released, officially renamed Deadpool & Wolverine.
The film, directed by Shaw Levy (Free Guy, The Adam Project) and which sees Ryan Reynolds return as the protagonist, will arrive in Italian cinemas on 24 July 2024 and will be the debut of the characters of Deadpool and Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In fact, in the trailer we discover that the agents of the Time Variance Authority will be involved in the new adventures of Wade Wilson and Logan – an agency that is well known to those who followed the Loki series. Deadpool, self-baptised the Jesus of Marvel, will therefore be ready to do battle – literally above the ruins of the 20th Century Studios – to save the MCU from the wrong timelines and the latest cinematic flops, in an operation of sublime breaking of the fourth wall that only this hero could dare.
