The first season of “The Tourist” was a bit of a surprise for me that came out of nowhere. Symbolically, it also took place out of nowhere – in the Australian outback, where a man (Jamie Dornan) wakes up at the scene of a car accident without remembering his name, who he is or what he is. He soon discovers that there are a multitude of parties seeking to eliminate him, only that he has no green idea of what and why and he cannot trust any man or woman, except Helen (Daniel MacDonald, “Unbelievable”), a welcoming police officer at the beginning of her career, who falls in love with him even though she is engaged .
