A meeting was held in Tavush Marzpetaran, where they discussed the organizational problems of carrying out animal skins exclusively in the slaughterhouse and delivering the meat grinder to the sales network. The meeting was attended by the head of Food Safety Inspection Authority Georgi Avetisyan, deputy head Artur Shatvoryan, governor of Tavush Hayk Chobanyan, as well as representatives of slaughterhouses and butchers of the region.
The owner of the slaughterhouse, Sergey Nerkaryan, spoke about the work of the slaughterhouses and the services provided. He presented the prices for the provision of services, the logic of their formation, clarified the nuances of their work in the sphere of relations and cooperation with producers and the sales network. He also informed that in the near future there will be a meat and by-products processing workshop next to the slaughterhouse.
“The sector is being regulated, the transition of slaughterhouse fur is an irreversible process that has no alternative. Our participation in this meeting aims to highlight the problems and contribute to the successful establishment of the producer-slaughterhouse-sale structure. This is a process that we are trying to go through as smoothly and smoothly as possible,” said the Head of the Inspection Body, Georgi Avetisyan.
Governor Hayk Chobanyan spoke about the need to promote the visit of the new sector.
“The sector will be based on the logic of market relations. The country should develop, the peasant should not have a problem selling meat, and the slaughterhouses will eventually become organizations that procure meat and supply quality and safe meat to the sales network.”
The butchers presented their concerns regarding selling meat suitable to the preferences of the population, unclear issues arising in the tax field and other problems. The representatives of the slaughterhouses assured that they are ready to provide any type of quality meat for sale, the safety of which will be guaranteed.
Cooperation between these two segments of businessmen is the key to solving the problem.
