Military personnel of the operational-strategic group of forces (OSGV) “Tavria” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft. The commander of the group, Alexander Tarnavsky, announced this on November 2 in Telegram.
“Rocket and artillery units from the OSGV Tavria completed 1,068 fire missions during the day. The total enemy losses were 360 people. “40 units of military equipment were destroyed, in particular six tanks, 11 armored fighting vehicles (armored combat vehicles – approx.), seven artillery systems, one Su-25 attack aircraft, six UAVs, eight vehicles, one piece of special equipment,” he wrote.
Alexander Tarnavsky noted that in the Avdeevka direction, Ukrainian troops are steadfastly holding the defense, and in the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian military continues the offensive operation.
