The umpire is mad, he cheated… it’s not an out; Fans in Kattakalip after Pakistan’s defeat
Pakistan has lost the second Test of England’s tour of Pakistan and the series has ended. With this, after two matches of the three-match series, Pakistan not only lost the series 2-0 but also got out of the World Test Championship after this defeat.
Pakistan lost the second Test in Multan by 26 runs. Chasing 355 runs, Pakistan managed to score only 328 runs.
Before England’s tour, Pakistan had only won four of the remaining five Tests to qualify for the championship. But after losing two consecutive Tests, Pakistan put their Test Championship hopes on the back burner.

In the second match, the most crucial thing in England’s victory was the dismissal of the superstar Saud Shakeel. Shakeel was out when the team score was 291 and the individual score was 94.
Perhaps if Saud Shakeel was at the crease, Pakistan could have won the match and thus kept their chances of a World Test Championship alive.
Shakeel got out after being caught by wicketkeeper Oli Pope off the ball of Mark Wood. But the fans alleged that Olly Pope did not take the catch well and the ball hit the ground.
They also disagreed with the umpire’s decision to dismiss Shakeel. In no time, many posts were raised on social media criticizing the umpire and the England team.
Stupid decision, how was that a catch? Clearly the ball has touched the ground, what more evidence do you need? ????????♂️ #PAKvENG Bad luck #SaudShakeel! Deserved a 100 pic.twitter.com/FKhGr2l8PD

Was that out? Has the ball not touched the ground? The decision on the dismissal of Saud Shakeel is controversial where the onfield and TV umpire should have given benefit of the doubt to Saud Shakeel. #PAKvENG

Captain Babar Azam also shared the opinion that the ball hit the ground during that catch. He announced this while meeting the media after the match.
“We also felt that the ball hit the ground. But as professionals, we accepted the umpire’s decision,’ said Babar.
