A victim of the American serial killer who killed the most people was identified in the remains of a Georgia woman killed 46 years ago – announced on Thursday by the Bibb County, Georgia Sheriff’s Office.
Samuel Little by his own admission, he killed 93 women between 1970 and 2005, mostly in Florida and Southern California. The man, who died in prison in 2020 at the age of eighty, is known as the serial killer who killed the most people in the history of the United States.
According to the sheriff’s release, the woman, until recently identified as the “Unknown Woman of Macon,” is from Macon. Yvonne Pless He was 20 years old when his killer killed him in 1977.
The serial killer confessed to killing two Macon women in 2018, and his testimony helped solve two dead cases in the state of Georgia. One of the victims was murdered in 1982 Fredonia Smith her identity was already known, but the identity of Yvonne Pless was identified only last year based on forensic genealogical investigations.
Authorities in Georgia say eight of the victims of the serial killer who died in 2020 were Georgia residents, and the body of a Tennessee woman was also found in the state.
Another victim of Little was identified in 2021: Clara Birdlong his body was found by hunters in Jackson County, Mississippi in December 1977 at a construction site near a highway. Over the years, the authorities created numerous facial reconstructions and computer models in order to identify him, to no avail, and finally found his relatives with the help of DNA testing.
