“In 2023, the courts have already reviewed 87 protocols drawn up by Roskomnadzor regarding leaks of personal data and imposed fines totaling more than 4.6 million rubles. In 2022, Roskomnadzor compiled and sent to court 66 reports on administrative violations, the amount of fines amounted to more than 2.4 million rubles,” a Roskomnadzor representative told Vedomosti. And two years ago, at the end of 2021, Roskomnadzor drew up only four protocols on such violations, and the amount of fines for them amounted to about 200,000 rubles, the interlocutor noted.
