Iranian experts deployed in Crimea for drone strikes on Ukraine America Accused.
Iran has deployed military experts to Russia’s Crimea to carry out drone strikes on Ukraine, the US White House has said.
Iran is sending its trainers and technical assistance to Crimea, a US spokesman said.
Ukraine Last Monday, Russia launched a drone attack on the capital city of Kiev.
These drones were sent by Russia. But believed to be manufactured in Iran.
Iran directly on the field
White House National Security Spokesman John Kirby said, “We believe that Iranian military personnel were deployed in Crimea and assisted Russia in the drone attack.
He said a relatively small number of Iranians provide technical support and Russian soldiers operate the drones.
Iran is directly on the ground by providing weapons that affect civilians and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine.
Kirby has said that the United States will do everything in its power to expose and prevent Iran from supplying weapons against the people of Ukraine.
The UK has announced sanctions against three Iranian generals and drone manufacturer Shahad Aviation Industries for helping Russia carry out drone attacks on Ukraine.
‘Kamikaze’ drones
Last Monday, Russia launched a drone attack on Ukraine.
These drones are called ‘kamikaze’ drones after the Japanese fighter pilots who acted as suicide bombers in World War 2.
Over the past few days, Russia has been using drones and missiles to attack critical infrastructure in Ukraine.
Russia has destroyed nearly a third of Ukraine’s power plants. Subsequently, restrictions on the use of electricity were introduced in Ukraine.
