The welcome song was composed by the Left activists, and that too was put on the head of the Sangh Parivar by CPM’s appeasing politics: K.Surendran

Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K. Surendran said that the government’s decision to ban the art troupe that performed the welcome song at the state school arts festival held in Kozhikode is a surrender to religious terrorists. Surendran said that it was clear that the Pinarayi government’s position was that it was not right to present the self-sacrificing struggle of the Indian army in the arts festival.

This government has proven again and again that it is with religious terrorists. Ministers Mohammad Riaz and Sivankutty say that it is wrong to commemorate the army in the art festival held at Vikram Maidan, named after Captain Vikram, who died a heroic death for the proud country of the people of Kozhikode. Surendran said that this is a green anti-national approach.

A group of artists are being banned by a left-wing government that talks sparingly about freedom of expression. But unfortunately the literary and intellectuals are not ready to question this. Kerala is moving very fast towards Communist-Talibanism. Muhammad Riaz is implementing Jamaat-e-Islami’s agenda. After banning Popular Front, CPM is becoming their voice. K. Surendran said that even though the welcome song was composed by left activists, CPM is playing appeasement politics by placing it on the head of the Sangh Parivar.
