The World Food Program is temporarily suspending food deliveries to the northern parts of the Gaza Strip. The reason is that the teams encountered complete chaos and violence.

The agency said the decision was not taken lightly, but the convoys were the target of looting and came under fire.

The Israeli army ordered more than 1 million civilians to evacuate the northern areas when the ground operation began last year.

However, according to the UN’s Palestine Refugee Agency, at least 300,000 people remain and depend on aid convoys for their survival.

Britain’s Prince William has joined calls for a ceasefire. According to him, the victims of the conflict are too many.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, however, reiterated that the war will not stop until Israel destroys Hamas, and the release of the hostages will not come at any price. Over 130 people are still in captivity of the Islamist group.

“Israel is under great pressure – both domestically and from abroad – to stop the war before we have achieved all of our goals, including a deal to release the hostages at any cost. We are not ready to pay any price, certainly not the fraudulent price that Hamas demands of us, which would mean defeat for the State of Israel,” Netanyahu announced.

The remarks came as the US plans to send its Middle East envoy Brett McGurk to the region to continue talks between the US, Egypt, Israel and Qatar, which are seeking to broker a ceasefire and the release of the hostages, bTV reported.
