A particularly dear guest was welcomed by the young students of the Kalpaki Kindergarten, in an action implemented as part of the program of school activities on the subject of reading.
The children welcomed the author of children’s books, Sofia Grammozi Sopikis, who, in her own unique way, told them the fairy tale “The silver bead or the gold-plated bead”. Earlier, the young students together with their kindergarten teachers Efrosyni Koliogianni and Maria Mastora had worked on the book, creating with their imagination the heroes of the fairy tale.
The children of the Kalpaki Kindergarten also participated in the activity, accompanied by the nursery nurse Vicky Zygouna and also the children’s parents, as the Kalpaki Kindergarten prepares an action plan on the theme of “Family-School Cooperation”. Thus, the parents got valuable advice and learned ways to make use of the children’s fairy tale, as the book is a valuable “friend” in the lives of young and old.
