The long-awaited summer event to announce Xbox games and news (which was previously part of E3) now has an official date and time. He Xbox Games Showcase this year will take place on Sunday, June 9 at 7:00 p.m. (Central European Time). The event can be followed online on the Xbox channels on YouTube, Twitch or Facebook.
The event will be a time to show news about nnew games for xbox and this year, for the first time, the Redmont company will mix announcements from all of its new studies, including Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda y Xbox Game Studiosin addition to titles from some third-party partners.

But the best thing about the announcement is that it is coming with a huge surprise that we can only discover later. And, just like last year’s event was a double event (with the Showcase + the Starfield Direct that came later), this year we will also enjoy a double session. Immediately after the Showcase we will have an in-depth look at “the next installment of a much-loved franchise”. From Xbox they do not give a word and accompany the image of the Xbox Games Showcase with a “Direct” that has the rest of the title censored, on purpose. The image that accompanies the announcement could indicate, according to some experts, that this second event will be dedicated to the new installment of Call of Duty.
Broadcasts of both events can be enjoyed in more than 30 languages and Xbox promises additional details later.
