After the great achievement of the youth team last summer, in which it managed to reach the final of the Euro, it will try to qualify for the championship this summer as well and today (Thursday) it discovered its rival for the elite stage. Ofir Haim’s team was drawn to the house together with Serbia, Poland and Latvia.
The games between the national teams will be held within a week at the end of March and the first one at home will get the ticket to the Youth Euro. As you may remember, Israel advanced to the elite stage after finishing second in the early stage when they beat Finland and the Faroe Islands, but were defeated by strong Croatia, who finished first.
In addition, the draw for the next Euro qualifiers, in the summer of 2024, was also held today. The youth team played in the same house together with Croatia, Armenia and the Faroe Islands.
