The Zionist entity confiscated several plots of land near a large Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank.
An announcement issued by the Civil Administration, which is part of the Zionist Ministry of Defense, stated that the area of the lands is 652 acres.
Palestinian Authority spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina said: “The Zionist government’s announcement of seizing large areas of West Bank lands east of Jerusalem is a continuation of its plan to isolate the city from its Palestinian surroundings, and a continuation of the comprehensive war it is waging against the Palestinian people and their Islamic and Christian sanctities.”
Abu Rudeina stated, “The occupation authorities are continuing to challenge international legitimacy and its resolutions that confirmed the illegality of settlements in all Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem.”
The Zionist entity occupied the West Bank during the 1967 war, and it is among the lands on which the Palestinians hope to establish a state. Most world powers consider the settlements illegal, which the occupation rejects.
