According to the results of the first half of the year, the revenue part of the RA state budget was exceeded by about 50 billion drams. As a result of this, the reserve fund is replenished by 10 billion drams due to the increase of program indicators of additional tax revenues.
“Before this, with 10 decisions, our plan was already increased by about 7.5 billion drams, the main part of which, about 6.5 billion drams, was allocated to Nagorno Karabakh,” RA Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said at today’s government session.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also said that the economic indicators of the first five months of this year ensured this.
Pashinyan thanked the taxpayers who pay the taxes prescribed by the law without the help of the Investigative Committee, the Prosecutor’s Office and other law enforcement agencies.
He is sure that there is a very good chance to ensure high economic growth in 2023 based on the indicators of the first five months.
“In this regard, I want to draw attention to our pace and quality of capital expenditures. When talking about expenses, we should never forget about quality, because spending without quality means waste, it should be excluded,” he said.
