“There is a simple truth in nature: the habitat of fish is water, fish cannot exist outside of water. Constitutionalism is such an environment for the constitution. The Declaration of Independence is considered the lifeblood of our constitution. removing the references to the declaration means eliminating the meaning of the Constitution, no matter how perfect the other provisions are, by removing the references to the declaration from the introduction, we will have a Constitution that does not say anything. This process will have a devastating effect on our state, the Armenian people will be perceived as a nomadic tribe devoid of intelligence,” said Vardan Ayvazyan, head of the chair of constitutional law at the YSU Faculty of Law, to the “There Are Questions” program.
“The declaration of independence is the goal of the constitution, the people. if we remove the goal from the Constitution, the meaning of our entire statehood, the existence of the people, is lost.
There is no need to blame the constitution, if we have the constitution with the most perfect text and composition in the world, we will still be in a worse situation, because those who apply the constitution, those who implement it, having a vicious mentality, fail the state administration.
It is stupid that by changing the text of the constitution, we can become competitive. something else, that the government wants to please the Turks, the demand to change the constitution will be followed by the declaration of the Turkish language as the state language.”
