There is no other film that has given me so much care: Biju Menon
Thangam, a new film directed by Saheed Arafat under the banner of Bhavana Studios, is gearing up for release. Biju Menon, Vineeth Srinivasan, Aparna Balamurali and Girish Kulkarni are playing the lead roles in the movie, which is scripted by Shyam Pushkaran after Joji.
Bhavana Studios has released an interview with all the crew members of the film talking about Thangam on YouTube. Biju Menon says in an interview that Thangam is the film in which he felt most comfortable.
Biju Menon said that there is no other film that has given him so much attention and facilities. Along with the actors, Shyam Pushkaran, Bijibal, Arafat and Dileesh Pothan were interviewed.
‘Not for promotion, it was terribly comfortable. To be honest, I want to do such a film. Thangam is a film that was shot in order without any other problems. There is no other film that has taken care of me so much, I can say that for sure,’ said Biju Menon.
The trailer of the film, which will hit the theaters on January 26, was released the other day. Thangam’s trailer hints that it will be a thriller film.
Biju Menon and Vineeth appear in the film as young men who make gold ornaments and deliver them to jewellers. Vineeth Thattil, Srikanth Murali, Kochu Preman and many other Marathi, Hindi and Tamil actors are in the lead roles.
The film also has the distinction of making Marathi actor and screenwriter Girish Kulkarni, who is well-known to the Malayalee audience through notable Bollywood films like Dangal and Ugly, enter Malayalam cinema for the first time.
The cinematography of the film is by Gautham Shankar. Edited by Kiran Das and Art Direction by Gokul Das, Sound Design by Ganesh Marar and Makeup by Ronax Xavier.
