In Stettfeld the volunteer fire brigade is holding its Father’s Day meeting at the Eisengrubenwald barbecue area and in the Zeuterner Himmelreich the music club is celebrating its music festival.
In Weiher, the Hako friends meet on their club grounds for a classic car meeting with vintage cars, tractors and agricultural machinery. Waghausel
The “Drehschaib” is a crossroads in the forest between Wiesental and Kirrlach and used to be a popular meeting place for young people from the two then still independent communities. For years, the forest hut in the immediate vicinity of the hub has been a popular contact point for cyclists and pedestrians on Father’s Day.
On this year’s Ascension Day holiday, the table tennis department of the FV 1912 Wiesental will again be hosting all Father’s Day excursionists from 10 a.m., writes Kurt Klumpp. The forest hut can be reached via an avenue between the Schützenhaus in Wiesental and the Kirrlach gymnastics club facility.
