Medical sources were saying even before the transfer of the young 20-year-old to the emergency room that it was very likely that there would be complications and even disability in the lower limbs as a result of the meningitis. It is recalled that the student collapsed on the evening of Wednesday, February 21, in the area of ​​the Department of Mathematics, where she studies.

Her fellow students called an ambulance, which took her to the University General Hospital of Patras, where she was immediately intubated, as her condition was particularly aggravated.
