A 6-year-old boy with autism from Germany has been missing for several days, German media reported.

Ariane from Bremervoerde in Lower Saxony went missing on Monday evening – April 22nd. The boy hardly speaks or reacts when called.

It is known that it likes helium balloons very much, so colored balloons are hung in the area and candies and desserts are placed – in 17 places. The hope is that the boy will be drawn to them.

The child’s parents provided a photo of him in the clothes he was wearing when he went missing.

The search for him involved police, military, firefighters, dogs, drones and boats.

Rescue teams came across a suspected trail of Ariane’s footsteps on Thursday night, giving a new ray of hope for his discovery. The footsteps lead to an area 10 km from the boy’s home, a police spokesman said.

The action continued on Friday with a search of the sewage system in the settlement, “Bild” informed, quoted by bTV.

The procedure reminded Germans of the case of 8-year-old Joe from Oldenburg, who was found under the cover of a shaft less than 300 meters from his home in the summer of 2022, after 8 days in the dark.

The case is very reminiscent of the one from Bulgaria with the missing 12-year-old Sashko from Pernik in November 2022, who also has autism.

After 9 days of searching, the boy was found in the hard-to-reach area near Radomir. Thousands of volunteers joined the action, and all Bulgarians were excited about the fate of the boy. Experts commented that it was probably the disease that helped the boy survive for only 9 days.
