It became known that the crew of the American western “Rust”, directed by Alec Baldwin, decided to continue making the film after the death of cameraman Galina Hutchins on the set. Boludin announced this in his social media account.
It is specified that this is a collective decision. The actors and workers who worked on the film wrote a letter in which they said they condemned the publication in the media, which describes the shooting of the film as “disorderly, exploitative and dangerous.”
“Such things distract from the most important thing – from the memory of Galina Hutchins and the modernization of the old, outdated safety equipment with firearms,” the film crew said in a statement.
Among other things, the letter stated that while working on the film, their salary and schedule were in line with expectations and were fair.
