The solution to throwing away the objects? At Bloomfield Stadium, the nets began to be installed in stands 4-5, identified with Hapoel Tel Aviv fans, and later also in stands 10-11, those of Maccabi Tel Aviv. The nets came from Germany and are designed to prevent objects from being thrown onto the lawn.
The cost of the entire project amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, when the German company brought workers to Israel to deal with the installation, due to the lack of experience in the matter in Israel. In addition, the sports hall company in Tel Aviv expects the teams to set up an awareness campaign for the fans.
The desire is to use the nets already in the second game of the season at 20:30, between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa, but there is great doubt if their installation will be completed by then and there is a race against time, when even after the installation is completed they will wait for the safety approvals to arrive.
Until the Tel Aviv derby that will take place in a week (28.1) the work should be perfect in any case, as I remember in the previous meeting between the teams the game was stopped for long minutes due to the throwing of flares and later also balls onto the field.
