Inside the facilities of Operaguain it State of Mexicothey stole cash at dawn; there is two arrested.
The robbery occurred in the early hours of this morning. Wednesday, January 8 inside the facilities of the Water Operating Agency (Operagua) which is inside a shopping plaza in the municipality of Cuautitlán Izcalliin the State of Mexico.
Agency authorities reported the theft of cash from the Attorney General’s Office of the Mexican entity (SLEEP).

The first investigations indicate that two subjects entered the Operagua offices and went inside the area where the cash is kept, but at the moment the amount of what was stolen is unknown.
The two people responsible for the theft were detained after being observed by the video surveillance system, but at the moment their identity is unknown.
It turned out that the alleged thieves also had important documents from the outgoing administration among their loot, which is why the detained subjects were supposedly part of the staff of the previous municipal administration.
The Cuautitlán Izcalli city council indicated that it provided all the necessary information required by the SLEEP to determine responsibilities and clarify the theft.
Despite this situation, the public service, water and property collection was not interrupted and operated normally.
“Both the water provision service and customer service and tax collection remain uninterrupted,” reported Operagua.

Due to the theft, the water supply was paralyzed for less than 24 hours, but Operagua indicated that its team went to the point to evaluate the damage to the facilities and present the corresponding complaint to the Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mexico.
The Operagua team immediately went to assess the damage and file a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico.
