The door of the apartment of Trofim Tatarenkov, a radio presenter of Sputnik and one of the authors of the “Isolenta” program, was set on fire in St. Petersburg. He reported this to the police, noting that “the Ukrainian trace is obvious” in what happened.
“Yesterday evening, they put tires at the door of my apartment, brought boards, and then threw a molotov cocktail. Since the door is made of iron, the apartment did not catch fire. The arsonists hoped that there was someone in the apartment. We were not at home, but the light was on in the apartment, it was visible from outside, through the window,” Tatarenkov told “Ria Novosti” the details of the incident.
He added that the neighbor alerted the EMS as soon as she noticed the fire.
Then Tatarenkov himself turned to the police.
“This story has a Ukrainian trace. This is a planned, systematic work. They think that they will scare us, we won’t work anymore. They are wrong. We have worked, we are working and we will work,” said the Sputnik radio host.
