An enthusiastic welcome for the India and Sri Lankan teams who came to Thiruvananthapuram ODI. Both teams left the airport at half past four and went to their hotels. Tomorrow afternoon at 1 pm Sri Lanka and 5 pm Team India will start training. The final ODI of the series will be played at Kariyavattam Sports Hub on Sunday at half past one. Captain Rohit Sharma was the first to come out of the airport. Yuzvendra Chahal followed. As Virat Kohli came out, the fans at the airport were in a frenzy.
The stars who boarded the bus waved as the fans called out their names. Some posed for photos. Later the Sri Lankan team also came out from the airport. Wanindu Hazaranga and captain Dasun Shanaka were more fans. The Indian team was welcomed with a gala at the Hyatt Regency in Vallukkadu. The Sri Lankan team will stay at Hotel Taj Vivanta.
