Samantha says she still wants to stop judging women on the basis of dress. Samantha Story also urges women to focus on improving themselves without being judged. I know what it means to be judged as a woman. Women are evaluated in many ways. The list goes on and on about what they wear, race, skin color, education, social environment, appearance and so on. It is easy to make a quick impression on a person based on the clothes alone. This is 2022. Can’t we still focus on improving ourselves without evaluating women? Evolution is about making those assessments inward and self-assessing. Focusing our ideals on others will do no good to anyone. We can rewrite the way and criteria we use to understand a person.

It has been 12 years since Samantha came to the cinema recently. Samantha made her film debut in the Telugu version of Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya starring as the heroine in Yeh Maya Chesapeake. One of them is Shakuntala, where Samantha arrives as the legendary Shakuntala. The film is being directed by Gunasekhar, the director of ‘Rudramadevi’ starring Anushka Shetty. The first look of the movie which tells the epic love story of Kalidasa was released yesterday. Apart from Telugu, the film will be released in five languages including Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and Tamil. Dev Mohan, who is notable for his role in Sufi and Sujatha, will play the villain in the film. Allu Arjun’s daughter Arha also plays the lead role in the film.
