Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was granted bail last month after a multi – stage struggle, why the High Court? Information about the bail has now been released.
Eight people, including Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, were arrested by the Narcotics Division on October 3 for allegedly celebrating a drug party on a luxury cruise ship from Mumbai to Goa.
They were lodged in the Adarsh Road Jail in Mumbai on October 8, after an intensive interrogation.
Upon learning of Aryan Khan’s arrest, Shah Rukh Khan came to Mumbai, discarding everything he was currently working on in the Aadli direction, as well as the promotional film he was to star in with Akshay Kumar.
Several times she petitioned the court to bring her son out, but they were rejected. This upset not only Shah Rukh Khan but also his family.
Shah Rukh Khan was paralyzed inside the house without proper eating and sleeping. Gauri Khan ordered the sweets to be made at home only after her son came out. Aryan’s sister Sukhana was worried about her brother and often phoned to inquire.
Aryan Khan was granted bail by the Mumbai High Court on May 28. He was released about 3 weeks later.
The details of why Aryan Khan was released on bail have now been revealed in the High Court judgment.
It said there was no evidence that Aryan Khan, Arbos Merchant and former Tamasa were involved in the drug conspiracy. The suspects, who were allegedly involved in a drug case, could not be said to have been involved in the conspiracy as they were aboard the ship.
It is pertinent to note that the judge also stated in his bail order that the statement of the Narcotics Prevention Division could not be trusted as the confession allegedly recorded by the investigating officer was not attached during the hearing on the bail petition.
