To enrich the adventure experience on the Explorer aircraft, the Lufthansa team has added an expandable balcony to the front fuselage, allowing passengers to discover a little about the surroundings. The 13-foot (4m) deck is not quite as magnetic as a yacht beach club over sparkling water, but it can still be a very relaxing getaway as long as the plane is in the air.
