However, there is a very serious concern about grapes. there are only 3 months left until procurement, but until today the processing enterprises do not sign contracts, except for the Yerevan brandy factory.”
According to Petrosyan, this will cause serious problems. He stressed: “As a result of the long-term struggle of a number of farms, the Yerevan brandy factory began to offer a higher procurement price, acting as a leader, but other companies are still trying to lower the price of grapes in every possible way and have reached the point where the Yerevan brandy factory has lowered the price by 15 drams this year. procurement price”.
According to him, problems will also arise in the field of vegetable and potato production. “Here, of course, you will have a sufficient harvest that will fully meet domestic consumption requirements, but export issues are a concern,” he remarked.
