A new line of Thom Browne bags and small leather goods, designed for both women and men, will arrive in time for the Christmas 2025 season. The collection, available at Thom Browne stores and select retailers, features whimsical designs centered around the designer’s beloved dachshund, Hector.
A Dachshund Dressed to Impress
The centerpiece of the new collection is a unique bag inspired by Hector, the designer’s canine companion. According to a company release, the “Dress up in a tuxedo” Dachshund dog bag depicts Hector sporting a miniature white shirt, bow tie, and black tuxedo. The playful design aims to evoke the atmosphere of a festive party, offering a touch of lightheartedness to any outfit. “The dressed-up appearance of the dachshund is adorable, and just by adding it to your outfit, it will create a playful atmosphere as if you were attending a party with your beloved dog,” the release states.
Silver Screen Glamour: The “Hector” Bag
Alongside the tuxedo-clad dachshund, a glittering silver “Hector” bag offers a more sophisticated take on the theme. Crafted from pebble grain leather, the bag boasts a silvery-white finish reminiscent of a snow-covered landscape. Priced at 464,200 yen, the bag provides a touch of winter glamour.
Miniature Charms and Cozy Cardigans
The collection extends beyond bags with the introduction of charming accessories. Miniature jacket & bag charms, designed to attach to bags or belt loops, feature Hector adorned in a snowflake-patterned knit, as well as scaled-down versions of classic Thom Browne jackets and bags.
Rounding out the festive offerings is a Cashmere Holiday Scenic Relaxed Fit Cardigan, priced at 567,600 yen, depicting a picturesque snowy scene. This piece offers a luxurious and cozy addition to the winter wardrobe.
The new collection from Thom Browne provides a unique blend of high fashion and playful design, offering consumers a distinctive way to celebrate the Christmas season in 2025.
