As part of the reorganization of the staff in view of the World Cup (from October 8 to November 12, 2022), the French Rugby Federation has appointed Thomas Darracq as the new coach of the XV of France Women. In his new role, he will be supported by Annick Hayraud who will continue to act as manager. The technical supervision had also been reinforced by the arrival of Gaëlle Mignot and David Ortiz as assistant coaches.
Through a press release, Thomas Darracq confided his feelings after this appointment: “I would like to warmly thank the French Rugby Federation for its trust. We have the ambition to see the French team succeed at the next World Cup, and to eventually build a team capable of equaling the best nations in the world. I would also like to thank Samuel Cherouk and Stéphane Eymard, who are leaving the coaching staff, for everything they have built up and brought to the French team in recent years. »
