Thousands of people marched with Israeli flags to the site of the attack in Be’er Sheva in order to raise national morale and demand the return of security to the residents of the Negev.
The march left the entrance to the Bedouin market in Be’er Sheva and reached the scene of the attack in the Big compound. This is an initiative of the “Suddenly the People Rise” movement and the “Red Line Protest”, along with a number of organizations that will take part in the march, including: 315, If You Will, Cafe Shapira Forum, Young Zionist Religion, Jewish Power, Bnei Akiva, Ariel, Ezra, Lehava , So far, Nahala, Regavim, Barel Patrol, Ma’ale Pola, life voters, security guards, residents for the Negev, Emunim, Beit Moriah, the Negev Rescue Committee, the mothers’ march and Nair throughout the city.
The families of the late Laura Yitzhak and Menachem (Menuhin) Yehezkel who were killed in the attack also came, and will also speak at the prayer rally that will take place in the Big compound. Rabbi Yosef Chaim Batzri from Be’er Sheva will also participate in the prayer rally.
MK Shlomo Qarai said at the demonstration: “Jews are being murdered on the streets of Kirya and the government is closing its eyes. There is no enforcement, no deterrence, Bar-Lev prevents reinforcements, and the jurists protect the terrorists and their families.
I came to Be’er Sheva to shout with the residents about this helplessness and abandonment. We will not allow them to close their eyes. They can not sell our country. “
