La Liga club Sevilla have sacked manager Jorge Sampaoli as the five-time Copa Del Rey winner teetered on the brink of the relegation zone.

Valencia, currently, is in the relegation zone with 26 points. Above him are Espanyol in 17th place with 27 points, and Valladolid and Cadiz in 16th and 15th place with the same points as Sevilla, which is 28 points.
