The technical staff of the national basketball team, led by Serbian Milan Nesic, decided to exclude three players from the final list that will participate in the Beirut International Championship, which will be held from February 17 to 20, with the participation of six teams.
The correspondent of the (INA) stated that the technical staff of the national team decided to exclude three players from the final list, making the number 15 instead of 18 players, noting that the players are Tyson, Muhammad Falih, and Muhammad Abdel Khaleq, and the latter was excluded due to injury.
He added that the team is continuing its preparations in the Sennacherib and Dohuk halls before participating in the Beirut International Championship, which comes in preparation for the qualifiers leading to the Asian and World Cup finals, pointing out that participation in this tournament is the best preparation for the national team, as six teams will participate in it, which have been divided into two groups, the first of which includes The teams of Lebanon, Iraq and Kuwait, while the second included the teams of Syria, Palestine and the Sultanate of Oman, and the first-place finishers in the two groups will meet to win the championship title.
