During this course, the Polytechnic university of Valencia, from Alcoy Campus, has reconvened the contest “Show Science on Video” in its XI edition framed in “The week of science”.
The advance of science is a constant in society, but this advance must be accompanied by the transmission of this knowledge. The types of scientific dissemination are wide and varied and it can be communicated in many ways and in a multitude of formats. In the contest “Show science on video” the students record a video of about 3 or 4 minutes where an experiment related to science is shown. physical o to chemicalthis video is published on youtube and is later valued by a jury made up of Chemical Engineering professors and teachers from the participating institutes.
This year, the IES Antonio Navarro Santafé has participated with the video “Wave of pendulums”, Made by 2nd year high school students: Manel Esquembre, Adrian Saez y Bryan Bósquez.
On June 2, the awards ceremony was held in the Graduate Room of the Carbonell building on the Alcoy campus, resulting in the winners of the first prize in the category of 1st and 2nd year of Baccalaureate and higher grade cycles our students with their original video.
This is the second consecutive year that the center has obtained this precious award, since in the previous call they also won first prize in this category.
