The American golfer Tiger Woods has announced this Friday that will reappear on the American PGA circuit next week at the Los Angeles Genesis Invitational, seven months after playing his last tournament. In 2022 he was barely able to compete due to injuries he sustained in a car accident in 2021.

The ‘Tiger’, champion of 15 ‘big’, will return to action on February 16 in his first ‘outing’ outside of the ‘Grand Slam’ since the Zozo Championship in 2020. «I’m ready to play a PGA Tour tournament next week, the Genesis Invitational,” he wrote on his Twitter account.

The Californian played only three tournaments last year: the Masters, the PGA Championship (where he retired) and the British (where he missed the cut and it is his last tournament since last July). Woods suffered the aftermath of his serious accident in February 2021, especially on his right leg.

Now, the ‘Tiger’, who already dazzled with his rebirth to win in Augusta in 2019 after multiple back operations, is up for another challenge with the unknown of his physical condition.
