RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan had a meeting today, on September 9, with the delegation led by the head of the EU delegation in Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Victorin.
Tigran Khachatryan presented the 2021-2026 plan of the Armenian government. the activity plan, as well as the implementation of the public finance management system and the reform strategy. In his speech, the minister highly appreciated the established close cooperation with the EU and emphasized the development of relations with the Union in all directions.
The ambassador referred to the programs planned with the support of the EU, which will be aimed at strengthening democracy in Armenia, promoting the economy, developing small and medium-sized businesses, energy, infrastructure, etc.
Summarizing the meeting, the parties emphasized that the extensive package offered by the EU to Armenia is not only an opportunity to attract large financial resources, but also a strengthening and reaffirmation of European values in Armenia.
