The Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) was inundated with calls around 5:30 p.m. on October 19 after a disturbing TikTok video began circulating among students and parents. The video contained text reading: “On Monday The 20th Southport middle Is getting bombed by me Stay home alright.”

Detectives immediately launched an inquiry, successfully tracing the account – operating under the alias “Benjamin Franklyn” – to a local IP address. Within five hours, authorities identified the student responsible for the post, who confessed to creating the video as a prank using an iPhone.
