Man Charged with Murder in Tipperary Town Following September Death

A 32-year-old man has been formally charged with the murder of an 81-year-old man in Tipperary Town, Ireland, stemming from an incident last September. Sean Harding, of Marian Terrace in Tipperary Town, was initially charged with assault causing harm to Mr. Murnane, as well as three counts of burglary. Mr. Murnane was discovered with serious injuries outside his home on St Michael’s Avenue in Tipperary Town in September and subsequently died two days later at University Hospital Limerick.

Harding was arrested this morning at Thurles District court and presented with the new charge of murder. According to court records, Harding responded “no'” when the murder charge was read to him.
