The products affected by the recall were sold in TK-Maxx stores and in the TK-Maxx online shop between September 2023 and February 2024.

Why are the wireless chargers being recalled?

On its website, TK Maxx explains that the chargers can overheat during use. Especially if there are metal objects nearby. The result: They melt and can cause skin burns if touched.

Wireless chargers that do not have the above product code are not affected by the recall and can continue to be used.

What can customers do?

Customers who purchased a wireless charger affected by the recall should stop using it immediately, the company said. Instead, you should bring the devices back to a TK Maxx branch. There you will receive the full purchase price back. However, the company does not mention whether proof of purchase is required for the refund or not. As a rule, you will get your money back as long as you can prove that the product is the one being recalled.

For further questions, customers can contact the company’s customer service. This can be done by phone at 0211 / 88 223 267 or by email at kundenservice@tkmaxx.de.
