The number of corona infections in Tamil Nadu has dropped to less than a thousand a day. In Tamil Nadu, 949 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in a single day today. Today’s corona confirmed number has dropped to 949 from 1,051 yesterday. Of the 80,755 samples tested, the one-day corona exposure was 949. In Chennai alone, 223 people have been confirmed to be infected with corona. The number of coronas has dropped to 223 today, from 238 already confirmed in Chennai.
In Tamil Nadu, 3 people have died in a single day today. The total death toll from the corona has risen to 37,980, with 3 people killed in just one day today. One died at a government hospital and two at a private hospital. There are 15,938 corona patients in Tamil Nadu. A further 3,172 people have been discharged from the corona infection. The number of people thus cured is 33,91,011.
After Chennai, the number of one-day corona infections in Coimbatore has dropped from 157 to 136 now. Similarly, the one-day corona exposure which was 96 in Chengalpattu has now been reduced to 92. Corona has been confirmed for 47 in Erode, 40 in Tiruppur, 33 in Salem, 39 in Tiruvallur and 31 in Kanchipuram. Corona infection has been reported in all the districts of Tamil Nadu.
