TNA AMC Premiere: Lineup Changes & Contract Issues

by Liam O'Connor

The contractual uncertainty surrounding The Rascalz is casting a shadow over an X-Division title match scheduled for this Thursday’s TNA Impact on AMC premiere.

As first reported by PWInsider on Tuesday, TNA is no longer promoting the previously announced X-Division championship bout between Leon Slater and Myron Reed, a member of The Rascalz. Slater remains featured in promotional materials, but Reed is absent.

According to the report, Reed, Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, and Dezmond Xavier are all free agents after their contracts expired at the end of 2025. TNA reportedly did not exercise options for Wentz and Miguel, leading to the belief that all four wrestlers are now available to negotiate with other promotions.

Concerns about the group’s future arose as early as mid-November, with reports indicating that the contractual status of all four men was unresolved. Xavier, formerly known as Wes Lee during his time in WWE NXT, had not signed a new agreement upon his return following the conclusion of his WWE contract.

Slater’s scheduled X-Division title defense against Moose and Cedric Alexander for this Saturday’s Genesis pay-per-view remains confirmed.
